Practice bank
The bundled bank contains 76 items: 46 quantitative, 27 verbal and 3 writing prompts. Administrators can add or disable questions. Repeated sessions may repeat questions.
The ratio question is adapted from Wikibooks contributors, A Guide to the GRE. Wording was adapted and an incorrect answer corrected: 7/11 is below 65%. The adaptation is available under CC BY-SA 4.0.
Expanded question sources
The added mathematics exercises use original wording and values, with conceptual references to OpenStax’s linear equations, systems of equations, probability and statistics chapters. These are background references, not copied textbook exercises.
New reading questions use public-domain excerpts from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, both Chapter I, with original questions and explanations. Quotation marks are normalized. Added text-completion and essay prompts are original practice. Source and reuse information appear with each result.
Licensed textbook exercises
Sixteen quantitative questions are adapted from OpenIntro Statistics by David M. Diez, Mine Çetinkaya-Rundel and Christopher D. Barr. Each identifies its original exercise. These adaptations, including added options and explanations, are licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0. Wording is condensed, subparts are converted to multiple choice, and assumptions are clarified. No photographs or restricted instructor materials are used. This is independent supplementary practice; the original authors do not endorse it.
